Job Responsibilities:
- Take charge of company vehicles and timely drive company personnel, items, and other company property to customers, projects, and other assigned drop zones.
- Maintain delivery schedules as allotted, using navigation apps to determine best routes, and comply with drop zone procedures and obligations, all the while maintaining professionalism when facing clients, company personnel, and other members of the public at all times.
- Assist company personnel, clients, and other team members with loading, unloading, and moving delivered items, machinery, products, and other items to/from the prospective drop/pick-up zone.
- Ensure the safekeeping of the company’s vehicles by maintaining interiors, keeping up with maintenance schedules, reporting any hardware issues as they arise, and keeping petrol levels in check ahead of delivery routes, all the while complying with the legal requirements of the UAE’s road and travel system.
Job Requirements:
- A valid UAE driver’s license as well as a clean driving record clear of major legal violations.
- Familiarity with GPS software, and good knowledge of the most common roads and neighborhoods.
- Ability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts on-call in accordance with business operations.
- Ability to lift and assist staff, clients, and other team members in moving heavy machinery, packages, staff luggage, and other items as requested.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations, as well as a polite and professional disposition when interacting with business partners, team members, and other members of the public.
